Being a government agency, DRZ is charged with two statutory duties. Its first duty is to process redundant goods owned by the Central Public Administration. Its second duty is to process goods that have been seized under criminal law by or on behalf of the Central Public Administration.
In performing these two duties, DRZ has built up expertise in the areas of valuation, logistic processing and the sale of goods. Other government agencies have also started drawing on this expertise.
